Food bank usage in Toronto has risen 45% since 2020. Living in the city is extremely expensive and, on average, after paying for housing, food bank users are only left with $9.17 in their pocket, per day. That $9.17 needs to cover food, transportation, and any other expenses that come up. On top of that, COVID-19 has hit families hard, and, as support programs are ending, already-struggling families are facing even tighter budgets. As it gets harder for families to keep food on the table, it’s essential that we make sure children have access to Student Nutrition Programs.  Donate here: www.tfss.ca/donate
