The 2019 Who’s Hungry Report has been released, and shows that food bank use in Toronto has increased. Due to the rising cost of living, the number of food bank visits has grown by 4 per cent.  In a survey of 1,400 food bank clients, 53 per cent of respondents reported that they skipped a meal to pay a bill, and 25 per cent of parents said that their children go hungry at least once a month.

Student Nutrition Programs are needed now, more than ever, as families struggle to keep food on the table.
