Sun Life Financial, Howard J. Fergusson Insurance Agencies Limited and the Fergusson Family Support Bloor CI's Lunch Program
Howard Fergusson, a dedicated Sun Life Financial Advisor and President of Howard J. Fergusson Insurance Agencies Limited, along with his family, donated $6,000 to Bloor Collegiate (CI) in order to expand the school’s lunch program. A successful financial advisor at Sun Life Financial and member of their Hall of Fame, Mr. Fergusson is all about making a difference in people’s lives both in his career and his community.
Bloor CI’s principal, Susana Arnott, explains how the donation has helped the school community: “We are very thankful for the Fergusson family’s generous donation to our lunch program. It allowed us to serve lunch to students and to reinforce our well established reputation as a caring and giving community. An unintended but very positive outcome of this program was the leadership and entrepreneurial skills that the students that run the program developed. Creativity, social conscious and community partnerships were all responsible for the success of the program.”
